Home Learning: Maths & Literacy Beginner Packs
This free Maths & Literacy pack has been designed to support younger & new-to-English pupils learning at home due to the Coronavirus. The Maths resources offer worksheets and suggestions for maths games and activities. It also includes activities on numbers and shapes in easy Spanish to keep primary school children engaged with languages. The Literacy pack provides worksheets and activities on phonics, word types, and sentence building.
To help get the most out of this free maths and literacy pack, we offer a 'plan' page at the beginning. If you have access to the FlashAcademy® app, there are several FlashAcademy® lessons linked to each resource as well. Instructions have been designed to be parent-friendly, brief and easy for both parents and pupils to follow. We have also suggested one challenge task for each resource to stretch learners beyond the main task.

Home Learning for EAL: Project Packs
This free pack has been designed to support home learning for EAL pupils due to the Coronavirus. Providing up to 4 weeks of work, the packs cover topics from storytelling and literacy to geography and UK culture. There is even an EAL pupil podcast opportunity so that pupils can practise their English speaking skills at home.

Weekly Activities
Ages 5 – 7 will be reading a story called ‘Nikki’s New Shoes’ and will then complete some activities based on the story. After playing some maths games, the children have a series of resources to complete linked to the subject of dinosaurs.
Ages 7 – 9 begin reading a new story ‘School Swap’ about a teacher and a mischievous pupil who accidentally swap bodies. There are then some maths games and exercises followed by a series of activities linked to the theme of the Vikings.
Finally, ages 9 – 11 will finish reading the story ‘Our Big Kitchen’ before beginning a new Science Fiction story. They will then complete exercises based upon what they have read. There are then a range of activities linked to the subject of space.
